GoogMeetSlack

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-27

This is the privacy policy for GoogMeetSlack, an application operated by D6SC that lets Slack users schedule and manage Google Meet meetings. This document describes what data we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data we collect from Slack

When your workspace installs GoogMeetSlack, Slack transmits:

We do not read Slack messages. Our bot scope does not include channels:history or any read-messages permission.

2. Data we collect from Google

When you run /meet connect, Google's OAuth consent screen asks you to grant access to your Google Calendar events and (optionally) your Google Meet transcripts. We store:

We do not read your calendar for events created outside GoogMeetSlack. The calendar.events scope only permits us to create, view, and delete events this app itself created.

3. Data we collect from Google Meet

When you click Post transcript, we call the Google Meet REST API using your OAuth token to fetch the transcript your Meet already generated. That transcript is sent to the AI provider you've configured (Gemini or Anthropic) for summarization, posted into the meeting Slack thread as a summary card, and the raw transcript is uploaded as a file attachment. We do not persist the raw transcript beyond that request; the summary is stored for the retention window of your plan.

7. Your rights

You can revoke access at any time by running /meet disconnect in Slack or uninstalling the app from your Slack workspace. To exercise data-access or deletion rights, email privacy@gmslack.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

GoogMeetSlack is not intended for anyone under 13.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way we will notify workspace admins via the dashboard and via email to the workspace's registered contact.
